With the growth of domestic economy, the electricity demand is growing rapidly. Thus the development of green energy is a must, and solar/wind energy is the priority. At present the installed capacity of Chinese wind energy is approaching 800MW, annually growth 25%. With the support of goverment policy and foreign cooperation, Chinese wind power industry is heading to the international practice. While on the other hand, we are also facing to the embarrasement of lack of production, installation and maintenance standard, insufficient technic method support and professinal trained staffs.
As a complicated equipment, the wind tubine works in wild field for a long term with poor natural conditions. To ensure its effective working in a long period, all parts and details must be paid with carefully attention. The turbine are mainly composed of four parts: tower, cabin, hub and blade, well these four parts are all connected by bolts. Thus the running and generating efficiency are directly affected by the bolts connecting condition in the installation.
Since China has not established her standards for industrial bolts application, and human resources are relatively cheap, many wind turbine installation company remains the backward bolts fastening method. The traditional way - knocking with wrench and hammer- though it is easy, but it was unable to output precise and reliable botls load, which would threat the smooth running of the turbine seriously. With the development of domestic wind power industry, more procument, mainetance and investment, the revolution of traditional method and equip advanced tools are imperative. Pre-tight the bolts with knocking wrench or torque multiplier, check the needed torque value according to the bolts size&grade, then operate with high precise torque wrench, could improve the installation security greatly.
